Bomb and Button Games: Risk Ladders and Streak Mechanics
Risk-ladder games ask the same question over and over: take the money, or take one more step. The answer is arithmetic, not courage.
The category built for thirty-second sessions
Instant games are designed for mobile users with a spare minute. They are fast, colourful and among the most expensive categories per hour played.
An instant game resolves a full wager in under thirty seconds, usually from a single decision, with a clear and immediate result. Plinko, dice, coin toss, crash, wheels and simple colour games all belong to the family.
The category exists because of mobile. It fits between two stops on a commute, requires no study and delivers a complete experience in the time a slot takes to run a bonus round.
Rounds per hour is the number that matters in this category. A game resolving every five seconds can produce over 700 settled bets an hour. Even at a 1% edge, that is 7% of your total amount wagered in an hour.
This is why instant games should be played with much smaller stakes than table games. A 1 credit bet in an instant game is not the same as a 1 credit bet on a roulette spin – one happens forty times more often.
Many slots and fishing titles embed mini games as bonus rounds: a pick-and-win grid, a wheel, a short reaction game. These are usually pre-resolved bonuses dressed as interactive features, and your choices typically do not change the expected value of the round.
The exception is genuine skill elements in arcade titles, where better aim can improve how efficiently you spend. Even there, the payout pool is set by the game.
Never use your table-game stake on an instant game. Divide it by ten and start from there.

Per round the edges are often lower - per hour played they can be far more expensive.
Rarely. The round's value is normally determined when the feature is triggered.
High round frequency and mobile fit produce high total wagering.

Casual casino titles are designed for a phone in one hand. Their interface constraints shape everything about how they play.
